PALESTINE PD ADDS NEW SUMMER UNIFORMS

PRESS RELEASE

Officers Chase Scarbrough and Justin Carlson model the Palestine Police Department’s new Summer Uniforms.
Officers from the Palestine Police Department will be sporting modified uniforms until the end of September this year.
The Palestine Police Department has authorized the optional Modified Summer Uniforms for patrol and other duties within the department.
The uniforms will consist of a blue-gray colored shirt that has an embroidered badge and the officer’s name on the front of the shirt, along with “Palestine Police Department” on the back of the shirt. Officers were given the option of wearing knee length shorts instead of pants, as well.
“The Officers who chose to participate are really excited about the additional options. With the weather that we have had, they have been welcomed by many officers”, says Operations Chief Jeff Powell. “We just wanted to inform the public of the addition, so they wouldn’t be surprised by contacting officers in a different design of uniform.”
